On Our Way to Tulare...

A Tipton native, Rosa Games was having lunch in her home off Road 112. We were en route to Tulare from Pixley via the same road. According to Rosa, her husband saw us down the street, frantically called her and told her "whatever you're eating, bring it to the marchers!" Her husband had heard about our march on Univision/Noticias 39. A fantastic reporter spent all of Wednesday covering our march from her truck. She interviewed Irene Gonzalez.

So Rosa caught up to us bearing sliced fruit, papayas and oranges, neatly stacked in bowls. She said that if she knew in advance she would've made a complete meal. She asked if we needed a place to stay for the night and opened her home to us. She also offered to take our trash.
